Componere Fine Catering

Overview:

What do you get when you mix a host of talented chefs with keen business savvy  Componere Fine Catering. We had the pleasure of working closely with them to create a fresh take on their website. The goal for the design was to showcase their photography and warm inviting corporate culture into the site. We built this site with flexibility in mind so they could add custom slideshows throughout the site, in depth venue listings, corporate logos pages and all the other bells and whistles you would expect from a top tier catering company.

The Stanton Social

Overview:

One of NYC’s premier restaurants, The Stanton Social needed their website modernized from it’s previous Flash version. Reworking the design, and bringing the sites content into WordPress allowed for the site to be SEO optimized, CMS managed, and easily expandable. Chef Chris Santos’ vision is captured in the design and the mystique of the restaurant is very present.

  • cpc

Client:

CPC Strategy

Overview:

CPC is a company built upon a very similar set of beliefs as us: Work hard, be the best at what you do, and deliver on what you promise. We designed a website for them that clearly laid out the problems in the ‘Cost Per Click’ industry and then explained what their solution to that problem is.

Using visual metaphors that people could understand, we created this site with the end-user in mind, not the seasoned veterans. It is this targeting that better engages the sites visitors and allows CPC to capitalize on teaching rather than preaching their messages.

Garnering praise from the New York Times, New Yorker Magazine, Bloomberg and many others, Tertulia turned to us to design and develop a website to match it’s extraordinary cuisine.  Working closely with the chef and team at the restaurant, we launched this visually rich and textural site.

Powered on the WordPress platform, the uses a variety of type styles and layouts to recreate much of the menu and materials within the restaurant. We worked hard to give the visitor a glimpse into what they could expect when visiting this unique and comfortable restaurant.

Working with the creative folks at Atera, we had a great opportunity to help them build a website for a restaurant that was truly unique, and that is not easy to say for any restaurant competing in NYC. Using foraged food from the wilderness and combining it with modern cooking techniques, this restaurant has quickly made a name for itself in the NY food world.

  • elitecustomglass

Client:

Elite Custom Glass

Overview:

Elite Custom Glass came to us with an idea for a website that few have been able to do before. They wanted to allow consumers to purchase customized shapes, sizes and colors of glass. For everything from table tops to glass shelves to shower door glass. And, because of a low overhead,  they can easily compete with any glass manufacturer on price and beat anyone on selection.

We started with a full design phase and then launched into developing a custom Magneto Commerce setup with a glass customizing wizard. This allows consumers to determine the price of their glass online as well as the cost of shipping. Since we needed to account for the shipment of oversized  of glass, we also created a custom shipping plugin that would be able to select from the most appropriate courier based on glass size.
